Materials to avoid 

Grass is soft, but they may get itchy when the kids play too much on them. Also, it could be a better cushion as it may get itchy. 

Dirt –dirt may contain sharp objects, and this may be harmful to kids 

Wooden boards – get slippery; thus, the kids have a higher chance of falling, and wooden boards cannot cushion them. 

Spacious playground
